| Milton Keynes Sub-Aqua Club offers training at many levels.
We have Instructors within the Branch who can teach diving from Ocean Diver up
to Advanced Diver. The Ocean Diver Course takes place in a local pool
with the open water sessions in our own lake, the Blue
Lagoon. Lectures are given in our Club House in Newport Pagnell.
The course is usually rounded off with a day (or weekend) diving at the coast.
Training also takes us up the A5 to Stoney Cove.
Courses normally start twice a year in October and February. For details of
our next course email Enquiry@mksac.co.uk
or ring 07020 93 9864.Once you have qualified as a Ocean Diver you can come diving with the Branch. The
next progression in your training is Sports Diver which prepares you for some of
the more advanced diving the Branch undertakes. Again, training takes place in
the pool, Clubhouse and (of course) the Blue
Lagoon. Further courses can
take you (if you wish and subject to your ability) to Dive Leader and Advanced
Diver.Training PricesDiver TrainingThe cost of courses below includes BSAC training manuals and logbooks, lectures and dives at our local pool or the Blue Lagoon.
Costs of other dives (for example to the coast or Stoney Cove) are not included. Slightly higher charges may apply where updated paperwork is required from an older style qualification. | Skill Development CoursesMKSAC has the resources to run many Skill Development Courses "In House". Management Course. Earlier years saw First Aid, VHF Marine Radio, Chartwork, Oxygen Administration,
and Compressor Operation.
Our most popular course recently has been the BSAC Combined Nitrox with over
fifteen members (and a lot of visitors!) qualifying. Even if we do not have an appropriate instructor in the Branch, our contacts with other
local clubs mean we can usually run the course you want.
